InFirst Bank Veteran's Marathon

The InFirst Bank Veteran’s Marathon is coming up fast! The races will be held on the beautiful Ghost Town Trail, Blairsville, PA on November 6th. The marathon is a certified Boston qualifier. All proceeds from the race go to support veterans through the local non-profit, the Western Pennsylvania Veterans Relief Fund.  Monies from the race will be used to support the needs of veterans in our communities.  To register online, or to print a registration form please go to:

  • Pre-Race packet pick up only: Saturday, November 5th from 3-5pm at the Jimmy Stewart Museum – 835 Philadelphia St, Indiana, PA.
  • Pre-Race packet pick-up & PASTA DINNER: Saturday November 5th from 5-8pm at Levity Brewing -1380 Wayne Ave, Indiana, PA. There will be a $10 donation for the dinner. If you’d like to attend the dinner, please RSVP to with your name.
  • Race Day packet pick-up from 7:30-9:15 AM at Saylor Park.

The Indiana Ramada by Wyndham is offering runners a discounted rate for those needing accommodations Saturday, November 5th.  When calling to make your reservation, please let the staff know you’re a runner in the Veterans Marathon so you can receive the $99 (+tax) rate.  Reservations must be made by October 21st to receive the discounted rate.  The Ramada is located at: 1395 Wayne Ave, Indiana, PA 15701 (across from Levity Brewing).  To make your reservation, please call (724)463-3561 or click HERE.

To celebrate our 100th anniversary our branch team members are performing 100 Acts of Kindness in their communities. Below are photos of some the acts they’ve done so far this year.

Team members have: donated activity books & crayons to Laurel View Village (senior care center), given kids activity bags to the Richland Police Dept., handed out free iced tea to customers at a local deli, donated craft and activity items to Chestnut Hills Senior Center, donated koozies to the Shane O’Mak Race/fundraiser, donated free ice cream coupons to local cheerleaders & football players, donated dog food to the Homer City K9 Unit, assisted with food for the Teddy Bear Fun Ride, donated water to local volunteer fire departments, Citizen Ambulance, and the Indiana County Sheriff’s Dept. They have also: had kids table at the Sykesville Fair, donated products to the Gateway Humane Society, donated kid packs to the West Hills PD, handed out water and trinkets to participants at Thunder in the Valley and the Indiana-Armstrong Home Builders Association outing, gave coupons for free ice-cream to local cheerleaders, donated dog food to the Homer City PD K9 Unit, donated a gift card to Indiana County Sheriff Bob Fyock to purchase items for his K9, handed out trinkets dad’s for Fathers Day, had a clean-up day at HEAL Animal Shelter, and helped renovate a house with Habitat for Humanity.
