SPIN P2P Service can be found in the Move Money section of your menu. This service is available upon your request and one-time ID verification. Please call 800-349-2814 for assistance registering.
Whether you’re paying a friend back for picking up groceries or sending money to your child in college, we’ve made sending SPIN P2P payments simple, secure and instant. AND best of all, FREE! You can send these payments directly within your Mobile Banking or Online Banking!
Follow these simple steps to start sending SPIN P2P payments directly to friends’ and family:
Step 1: Login to the mobile banking app or online banking portal. Click on the Move Money section, then “New Transaction.”
Step 2: : Select a recipient to send money to. If you’ve sent a SPIN P2P payment before, you can simply select that recipient again. If this is your first time sending a P2P payment to an individual, you’ll need to click “+Add New Payee” and follow the prompts to add the new payee.
Step 3: Next, choose the account to move money from.
Step 4: Enter the dollar amount you’d like to send.
Step 5: Enter how you’d like to notify them to receive the payment; by email, phone, or no notification.
Step 6: Enter the email address or phone number, if applicable.
Step 7: Enter a note for the recipient if you wish. Optional.
Step 8: Click Next
Step 9: Review your transaction to ensure everything is correct. Once reviewed, click the “Submit” button.
Step 10: For your protection, you will receive a phone message or be sent a one-time passcode on your personal device to release the payment.
Accepting the payment on the recipient’s end is just as easy! Depending on what notification method you’ve chosen, they will receive an email or text message alerting them of your Person to Person payment. After you’ve sent a payment once, all future payments are transferred without any interaction from the recipient.
And just like that you’ve sent money securely to your friends and family within minutes!
